Yunnan black tea — or Dianhong — comes to us from the misty highlands of Yunnan province in China, the birthplace of tea. It’s beloved in China as a breakfast brew, offering gentle strength and a soft, rounded sweetness. This tea delivers lovely golden liquor, subtle maltiness, and a silky finish — easy to sip and rich in character.
What Is It?
A whole-leaf black tea from Yunnan, traditionally known as Dianhong. High-grade versions contain golden-orange leaf buds that bring natural sweetness and elegant depth. Some expressions allow a dash of milk — rare for Chinese teas, but it's welcomed here.
