Smooth -  Fresh – Delicate

Ingredients: Japanese
green tea

boiled water, chilled for two minutes 75-80°C, 3–5 mins

of honey for gentle sweetness. Avoid milk or sugar, as they can overpower its

vegetal flavour and subtle sweetness.

BIT MORE INFORMATION:

Grown in the esteemed
Shizuoka region of Japan, Gyokuro Asahi is a celebrated green tea known for its
exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The tea leaves are slender, needle-like,
and deep green in colour, reflecting the meticulous cultivation methods used.

In the final stages of
growth, the tea bushes are carefully shaded for approximately 20 days using
large covers. This shading process slows photosynthesis, allowing the leaves to
develop higher levels of chlorophyll, amino acids, and other nutrients, which
contribute to the tea’s vibrant colour and rich umami flavour.

Harvested and processed
in April, when Japan’s finest teas are traditionally produced, Gyokuro Asahi
undergoes a gentle steaming and rolling process that preserves its delicate
character.
