Keemun Orchid
Description
Keemun Orchid – Floral, Smoky & Elegantly Nutty
A refined Chinese black tea from Qimen County in Anhui, China, made from rolled leaves that deliver a rich dark amber liquor with signature notes of orchid, honey, plum, pine and sesame. It's smooth, aromatic, and deeply satisfying — no need for milk unless you fancy it.
What Makes It Special
This Keemun earns its name for its soft floral fragrance — often described as reminiscent of wild orchids — coupled with a smoky, malty character and a mellow sweetness. The balance is exceptional: aromatic, well-rounded, and richly textured.
Origin & Craft
Sourced from Qimen County, the birthplace of Keemun tea. This small-leaf varietal is slowly oxidised and carefully processed to preserve its delicate floral aromatics and natural sweetness. Often referred to as Keemun Orchid Supreme or Keemun Mao Feng, this tea is considered among the finest black teas in China.
💡 Tea Lover’s Tip
Best savoured slowly to appreciate the layered aromas. Excellent as a standalone tea or paired with light snacks like biscuits or nuts. If you're after a deeply aromatic yet smooth black tea, this is the one.
