Jun Chiyabari 1st Flush

Nepal First Flush Black Tea: Jun Chiyabari

Taste: Floral, Muscatel, Light, Fresh
Origin:
Jun Chiyabari Estate, Dhankuta District, Nepal
Ingredients: Black tea (first flush)
Brewing: 85 to 90°C | 3 to 5 mins

Serving tip: Enjoy plain to appreciate its delicate floral character. A slice of lemon adds brightness and a touch of honey brings gentle sweetness; milk is not recommended.

A light, aromatic first flush black tea from Nepal’s Jun Chiyabari estate. It brews a pale golden cup with a floral aroma and gentle muscatel notes, fresh and delicate, and ideal for a quiet morning or afternoon pause.

BIT MORE INFORMATION:

This first flush black tea comes from Jun Chiyabari, a young estate in the hills of Nepal’s Dhankuta district, not far from Darjeeling. The first flush is the earliest harvest of the year, picked in spring as the tea bushes awaken, and its young leaves are prized for their fresh, delicate character.

When brewed, it produces a pale golden liquor with a floral aroma and a gentle muscatel flavour. The cup is light and bright, with a clean finish that many tea lovers will find familiar from Darjeeling, yet with a character that is distinctly Nepalese.

Best enjoyed plain to preserve its delicate notes, it makes a lovely choice for a quiet morning or an afternoon pause. A slice of lemon or a touch of honey suits it well, and it pairs beautifully with light biscuits or fruit tarts. Perfect for those who love a refined, fragrant first flush.
