Alessi La Conica - Espresso Coffee Maker
Description
La Conica, the first project of espresso coffee maker by Aldo Rossi, was created from the union of simple geometric shapes that form a mini-table architecture with a concise and elegant style. A timeless icon, La Conica has its body in stainless steel and its base in copper: a sophisticated object, characterised by essential geometric forms that give rise to a functional tool with which one can prepare and serve coffee.

Designed by architect Aldo Rossi, La Conica has been a design classic since 1984. This stovetop espresso maker pairs a striking conical stainless steel body with a copper base, built from simple geometric forms. Part kitchen tool, part miniature architecture, it makes a memorable Christmas gift for any coffee lover.
Since the 1920s, Alessi has produced objects and accessories for coffee, tea, and breakfast service. From the 1970s onwards, the catalog was enriched with espresso coffee makers, kettles, and other items created by extraordinary designers who completely revolutionized their design. Today, Alessi continues to introduce new models with striking lines, such as the Menhir espresso coffee maker by Michael Anastassiades - a hieratic and absolute volume dedicated to one of the last great rituals of the modern era - or Vite by Philippe Malouin, a true workshop-inspired sculpture whose threaded line evokes the very gesture that accompanies its use.
